WhatsApp Cloud API

These come from the Meta app: WhatsApp → API Setup for the phone number ID and the token, and App settings → Basic for the app secret. Nothing here is ever sent to the browser in full once saved.

WhatsApp is switched on Off means nothing is sent, whatever else is set. The queue still fills up.

Provider

Graph API version The version Meta shows on the API Setup page, e.g. v21.0.

Phone number ID A long number. Not the phone number itself.

Sends from (the WhatsApp number)

Access token Leave blank to keep the token that is already saved.

App secret Signs every incoming message, so a stranger cannot post fake replies. Leave blank to keep.

Verify token Any phrase you choose. Type the same one into Meta when you add the webhook.
